Mr. McBride brings over 25 years of litigation experience with him to support each of the Firm’s Clients. He began acquiring this experience as an Assistant States Attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and litigating with a prestigious downtown Law Firm. He left the State’s Attorney and opened his own Firm to act as his Brother’s Agent and support his professional soccer career. During this period, Mr. McBride regularly negotiated contracts with Fortune 500 companies, including Nike, Budweiser, Time Warner, Visa, and many others. This negotiation experience is backed up by Mr. McBride’s extensive commercial litigation experience.
While a sports agent, Mr. McBride continued handling commercial litigation matters, including personal and business disputes in need of resolution. Many lawyers only settle disputes, and are unable to confidently confront the opposition, even if a settlement may not in the Client’s best interest. While Mr. McBride always attempts to negotiate and avoid litigation, if the opposition does not negotiate in good faith or fails to recognize the value of the dispute, he will not hesitate to file a lawsuit and litigate the case and take it to trial. With 17 first-chaired cases tried to verdict and hundreds of bench trials under his belt, no case is too complex for Mr. McBride or the Firm.
